ASSISTANT NEWS EDITOR:
The Waukesha Freeman, a publication of Conley Media is looking for a full-time
journalist to copy edit stories, proofread pages and coordinate news coverage
during the paper’s night shift. The assistant news editor helps coordinate news
coverage during the evening and occasionally writes stories. This position
requires strong news gathering skills, excellent communication skills and
working knowledge of applicable computer applications. Excellent copy editing
skills, ability to meet deadlines and knowledge of AP style are required.
Proficiency with QuarkXpress is a plus. Conley Media is a division of Conley

MAILROOM OPERATOR:
The Waukesha Freeman, a
publication of Conley Media, has a full-time operator opening in our mailroom on
nights. The qualifying individuals must be reliable and able to work at a
steady pace while feeding inserts into an inserting machine. Must be able to
lift up to 60 lbs, bend, squat and stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of
bindery or mailroom experience. Knowledgeable in Muller Martini, Harris

REPORTER:
The Oconomowoc Enterprise, a publication of Conley Publishing Group, is seeking
a full-time reporter. Responsibilities include coverage of school board and
municipal meetings, business stories, features and spot news. Digital
photography skills required. We are looking for an energetic individual with
solid writing fundamentals, the ability to establish and cultivate sources, a
desire to be part of the community and a willingness to work hard. The ability
to write stories quickly and accurately under deadline pressure is required. The
ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, excellent written and verbal

will address customer requests; assist the distribution staff in resolving
service issues, and assist in processing the work flow of our circulation
