Dilemma busters

You bought the perfect dress for the party of the season. It fits like a glove. But what’s underneath shouldn’t distract from the flattering flow of the gown. It’s just one of the plethora of problems women face when trying to achieve the perfect holiday look.

Here are some solutions:

Panty lines — "Commandos," says Pam Flasch, owner of Miss Groove on Brady Street. "We all know the line of the panties can ruin the look of the dress. This line of undergarments is an excellent solution for clingy dresses." Made of microfiber, it’s seamless on the waist and legs.

Slinky fabrics — "Match Stick. A double-sided tape sticks to the skin and doesn’t allow the dress material to shift."

Strapless dresses — "Nu Bra is perfect," she says. "It’s made of silicone with a special adhesive. It allows the wearer to have support without straps."

Body flaws — "I highly recommend something from the Spanx line. High Power panties smooth the bumps and lumps from the top on down."
