Miss Groove opened on Brady Street during the spring of 2000 when owner and neighborhood resident Pam Flasch saw a need for a fun, flirty boutique selling women’s apparel and accessories, as well as last-minute luxurious gifts. "We have such a diverse neighborhood," she says. "I live here and it always made me crazy to have to go somewhere else and get a gift." The introduction of a lingerie section boasting Cosabella items was such a hit that in 2005 she opened Miss Groove Intimate across the street. "I couldn’t really do lingerie the way I wanted to in that store," she says, adding that she carries bra sizes for full-cup women, and offers wedding registry and bachelorette parties.
