Who: Melissa Weber

What: Manager

Where: Anthropologie, 301 N. Broadway, Milwaukee (414) 271-1105

Open since January, this Milwaukee shop is the second Wisconsin store for Philadelphia-based Anthropologie, which has garnered a national following for its flirty but retro women’s fashions. But the boutique also has a stronghold with lovers of antique, hip furnishings. According to manager Melissa Weber, "We’re a perfect fit in this neighborhood. We couldn’t be happier."

1. Various hardware pieces (drawer pulls, doorstops or door pulls), $6-$36. "Our hardware is such a favorite of mine — an extremely unique and easy way to change the look of your home or refresh old furniture. It’s really easy for anyone to find something, no matter what their style."

2. "Wash Day" tiered white ruffles shower curtain ($98) or "Petal Falls" white with organza overlay with black embroidery shower curtain ($148). "They really add great detail that creates a sense of decadence in the bathroom."

3. Fleur-de-lis glasses in various colors (white, gold, green, clear or pink), $6-$8. "They’re a fun way to add casual sophistication."

4. Capri Blue "Volcano" scent in a jar, $28. "It’s very fruity and clean, and the scent appeals to all."
