Bay
View “Bay
View does have several really hot bars,” says Charles Livermore,
president of the Bay View Business Association. “The Palomino is one of
the most popular.” Located
at 2491 S. Superior St., Livermore says the bar has “built up quite a
following.” “A
lot of people come from the East Side for that one.”
“The
cool ones are the new ones,” Livermore says. That short list includes
Bar Lulu, 2261 S. Howell Ave., which opened earlier this year next door to
Cafe Lulu. The Highberry Lounge at 2320 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., a European
sports-themed bar with ceramic tiles on the outside as well as on the
inside on the floor and around the windows, opened this fall. Also to open
soon on KK is Lee’s Luxury Lounge by the owners of Barossa.
