Sharkey’s

Ryan Reitman has run Sharkey’s, 2454 N. Grandview Blvd., Waukesha, for more than four years, but is not yet invincible on his billiards tables.

“Nope, not at all,” he says. “I can hold my own, but I’m not as good as half the people in here. We’ve had some of the best people in the world come in here.”

With 21 tables, there is plenty of room for seasoned pros, hopeless scrubs and everyone in between, and Reitman says he is always running leagues and tournaments for interested patrons. Sharkey’s is the largest pool hall in Waukesha County, and offers free pool starting at 6 p.m. every Tuesday. On the days your pool skills aren’t so sharp, do your best Travolta strut over to Sharkey’s dance floor, which is lit from below by 285 lights.
