Philanthropist who doesn’t mind sharing the wealth:

Abele
East
Coast native and
billionaire’s son Chris Abele is out to become a legend in Milwaukee
through his family’s Argosy Foundation, and there’s no one in town who
wants to stop him. He is already making his mark as a tremendous supporter
of the arts, founding the heralded Milwaukee Shakespeare company.
The
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Art Museum,
Pabst Theater, Wisconsin Aids Fund and Planned Parenthood are among his
beneficiaries. He’s hoping to grow the foundation’s worth to $2
billion, which translates to at least $100 million in annual donations.
Abele has said he loves Wisconsin; well, we love him, too!
