1982 Brewer still making his living as a 1982 Brewer:

Gorman Thomas

There were more talented Brewers on that World Series team, but no one personified Milwaukee better than Gorman Thomas. His go-for-broke style at the plate and in the field made him a fan favorite to this day.

Thomas makes appearances at Miller Park’s popular Gorman’s Grill and one of the Brewers’ most popular promotions this season was Gorman Thomas Bobble Head Doll Night.

“Gorman struck a chord with Brewers fans, perhaps as much as any player has,” Brewers Vice President Laurel Prieb says. “He has a charisma that all fans are attracted to.”
