Use
of mangos: Mangoz
martini at Eve A
martini chock full of antioxidants? Lots of vitamins C and E? Well
maybe it’s not a health food, but after a few mango martinis from Eve at
718 N. Milwaukee St., Milwaukee, you may be able to talk yourself into it. Bartender
Michael Morelli says Eve’s mango concoction - like its raspberry and
blackberry martinis - is made with the real deal. “We
use real fruit puree, real mango puree,” says Morelli, who called the
3-year-old nightclub and restaurant the premiere lounge in downtown
Milwaukee. “Our
martinis are the best in the city,” he says. Morelli
says Eve features 22 different types, and the mango “is on the top of
the list. The mango is in the top three or four,” he says. But
you don’t have to take his word for it. You can visit Eve and judge for
yourself. It opens at 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. |
