Milwaukee
Buck:
Michael
Redd
As
the United States basketball team was shooting brick after brick during
the summer Olympics, more than one pundit said the Bucks’ Michael Redd
would have been an asset to the team.
While
Redd was not given the chance to prove himself on an international stage,
the sweet-shooting lefty has nothing to prove to Bucks fans. Redd was so
impressive last season that it’s hard to believe the Bucks were able to
select him as the 43rd pick overall in the second round of the 2000 NBA
Draft.
In
his first year as the Bucks’ primary scorer, he averaged nearly 22
points per game, made his first All-Star team and led the surprising Bucks
to the playoffs.
