You have to know I am a small-town girl from Montreal in northern Wisconsin, population 800 (counting those people passing through!). My family then moved to Green Bay. Neither city boasts much of a skyline.”

>> Best food: “Custard ... yum! I love the fact that if you don’t like the flavor of the day at one custard stand, you just drive a bit and have plenty of other options. I really embraced this Milwaukee tradition when I was pregnant.”

>> Best reason to go outdoors: “I love going for walks with my new baby. With all of the great parks and walking trails, there’s never a dull trek. Which leads me to my next love in Milwaukee ...

>> Best reason to spend money: ”When the weather isn’t cooperative for an outdoor walk, I hit the malls for “mall walking.” I also love the quaint shops around town ... selling clothes, unique jewelry, home decorations ... you name it, I love to shop for it.”
