An Art Show on Wheels

View the cars used in this photo spread at The Masterpiece Style & Speed Showcase, held Aug. 23-24 in Veterans Park on Milwaukee’s lakefront. See more than 175 internationally award-winning, rare and historic automobiles — some valued at more than $1 million. All proceeds go to fund the Exceptional Needs programs of Milwaukee’s Jewish Family Services. The 1933 Lincoln KB Limo (driven by gangster Frank Nitti) featured in this year’s show, owned by Al Wagner of Delafield, was recently used in the filming of "Public Enemies," a movie starring Johnny Depp about the life of Depression-era bank robber John Dillinger that was filmed throughout Wisconsin. In January, new film incentives made Wisconsin one of the most "film friendly" states by offering tax credits to qualifying productions.
