The Romance of Tuscany
Milwaukee’s Magnificent Bride presents bridal bests for engaged couples

February 2014

Chic. Sophisticated. On-trend.

No matter how you describe it, Milwaukee’s Magnificent Bride show, now in its ninth year, has carved a niche as the city’s most exclusive bridal show.

With nearly 70 vendors in 2014, brides-to-be will once again be treated to a carefully curated collection of Milwaukee’s most sought-after bridal boutiques, bakeries, salons, photographers, caterers and much more.

“This is a must-attend event for brides who want to see and learn about the upcoming trends and absolute best wedding options in our community. It is designed to be an event — complete with champagne, hors d’oeuvres and over-the-top design ideas,” says David Caruso, owner of Dynamic Events and a producer of the show, along with Kate Iggens of Stone Manor Bridal in Grafton and Debi Zeinert of The Blooming Quill in Port Washington. “It is the only show that will help brides achieve the ‘one-of-kind’ wedding that everyone dreams of. The artisans and vendors are invited to showcase, and the qualification standards are very high. This ensures the guests’ experience is going to be fun, meaningful and valuable.”

The theme of this year’s show, “Under the Tuscan Sun,” celebrates the romantic style of Tuscany — focusing on the rich colors, brilliant foods and warm geography of the Italian countryside.

“We challenge our vendors from year to year to come up with the most exciting ideas for the engaged couples — and they do,” says Zeinert.

The Magnificent Bride is designed to be a relaxing afternoon for brides: Between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. guests can interact with the vendors, observe the latest wedding fashion trends, enjoy live entertainment, preview four unique designer tables, attend wedding workshops facilitated by Caruso and receive a key that might unlock a “treasure chest” of chic giveaways.

“If a bride and groom really want to interact with vendors, this is the show for them,” says Zeinert. “There is no over-crowded pushing or waiting in lines. Our attendance is comfortable, and our show is intimate enough that a couple can visit each vendor and not feel rushed.”

Some of the most popular and unique elements of the show are the designer tables, which are the product of the collaborative work of teams of local vendors who create stunning, fantasy-like dining tables.

“The tables are the ultimate expression of what all brides dream of — the most gorgeous wedding decor and details,” says Caruso. “Every inch of these tabletops is fabulous.”

The designer table display is just one example of how Milwaukee’s Magnificent Bride takes the wedding show experience to a whole new level, Caruso says. “The show is unique, creative and inspiring. Instead of overwhelming brides, it excites them and makes their wedding planning journey fun. And it feels good to be a part of the production team that makes that possible,” says Caruso. “It’s also wonderful to provide an opportunity for the area’s best wedding artisans and vendors to meet qualified and stylish brides who appreciate their level of quality and expertise.”
