Favorite splurge dinner spot: Lake Park Bistro for special occasions. It’s got such a nice ambiance and spectacular food.

Favorite dive or pub eats: Three Lions has great shepherd’s pie and boneless wings. We’re still on the hunt for our favorite dive.

Favorite meet-friends-for-drinks spot: Club Brady. We have made a lot of dear friends there and we all keep going back.

Favorite local beer or craft cocktail: Draft & Vessel has a great craft beer selection and a very knowledgeable staff.

Favorite local coffee spot: We love Sven’s in Bay View.

Item you can’t pass up if you see it on a menu: Definitely wings. It’s hard to find bad ones in Milwaukee.

Dessert you’ll never say no to: Dark chocolate

Favorite meet-friends-for-a-drink spot: Elsa’s on the Park

Favorite local beer or craft cocktail: Flirtini at Elsa’s. It’s just a wonderful little pink martini. It’s fruity and it’s perfect every time.

Favorite local coffee spot: Colectivo

Item you can’t pass up if you see it on a menu: Anything Mexican. I just go for the Mexican dish. Chicken tacos or fish tacos or chips and salsa or nachos — anything Mexican.

Dessert you never say no to: Cheesecake. I like just plain old cheesecake. Like, Cheesecake Factory cheesecake.

Drink, dish or dining spot you feel most says “Milwaukee”: I’m going to say Elsa’s again. It captures the festival season, because right there in the front [is] Jazz in the Park, Bastille Days, and then this time of year Christmas decorations go up. You really see the best of the seasons right in front of you as you’re in this really elegant space.

Favorite meet-friends-for-drinks spot: The Outsider in the summer, Balzac and I’m also looking forward to checking out the new wine bar, Voyager.

Favorite local beer or craft cocktail: I’m more of a classic cocktail person, and Manhattans are my go-to.

Favorite local coffee spot: Stone Creek on Downer Ave

Item you can’t pass up if you see it on a menu: Foie gras

Dessert you’ll never say no to: Cheese

Friday fish fry. Or frozen custard.
