Harvey’s Grilled Salmon Salad

Located in the heart of Mequon, Harvey’s Central Grille offers a relaxed, rustic atmosphere. The family-owned and-run business offers a variety of meals, but if you’re looking for something healthy, look no further than the delicious dinner salads, especially the grilled salmon salad. 

Delectable grilled salmon sits on a bed of mixed greens, along with oven-roasted tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers, red onion and radishes. Top the wide array of ingredients with a house-made tomato vinaigrette.

Head chef and owner Richard Staniszewski says the dish was put on the menu about 10 years ago and has been popular ever since. According to Staniszewski, after some trial and error, the pieces all came together to create the perfect salad. 

“I’m a big fish and seafood eater,” he adds. “I eat a lot of salmon, and we just sort of tasted combinations and came up with that (one). It’s been very successful.”
