Poolside
paradise There’s
no better combination than hot weather and water where friends and
family build lasting memories under the summer sun

The Dormans
made a few changes to the pool area when they purchased their
Brookfield home. Bev Dorman is an avid gardener with plenty of
creative talent. The couple removed the tall hedge-row planted
near the pool and replaced it with the pergola which Bev
designed. The change opened the view into the remainder of the
backyard and is the perfect place to sit and have cocktails or a
light meal. The pavers surrounding the pool lend a warmer
Mediterrean feel than white concrete.
The Wagners called Boneck’s
Professional Pool Builders Inc. of Wales when they decided to
add an in-ground pool to their backyard. The Wagners wanted
their pool area to be an extension of the natural surroundings
in their Delafield yard.
During the summer months, Dan and Lori
Lorenz spend plenty of quality time by the pool with their four
children, Jake, Kayla, McKenna and Samantha. "Whether the
need exists to simply cool off on a hot summer day or relax and
socialize while backyard grilling with family and friends, our
pool offers us a setting that takes us out of the daily demands
and offers a sense of peace and tranquility that we enjoy
most," says Lori Lorenz. The pool was designed and
constructed by David Thompson of Swimming Pool Services Inc. and
landscaped by John Erdman of Terra Tec Landscapes Inc. of
Richfield.
