Long-term lessons: For $1,450, 18 private 30-minute lessons with 18 hours of computer practice, three 18-hole playing lessons, one lesson designated for goal establishment, equipment evaluation and personalized record keeping

Quick lessons: 30-minute individual lessons for $75

Alternatives: Golf Achiever II, a golf swing computer program, can be purchased to analyze swing for $12 for 30 minutes Facilities: 18-hole golf course, also includes a driving range with three target greens, a practice bunker area, and chipping and putting greens

Olde Highlander

Alternative: An indoor short golf range is offered

Instructor: Head pro Dan Gogin has been a PGA Professional since 1999

Facilities: The 18-hole course features 6,474 yards of golf for a par 73, along with an indoor short golf range

Facilities: Designed for the middle handicap golfer, this layout offers plenty of sloping fairways and greens; the course has 18 holes and covers 6,300 yards
