BROOKFIELD - International Business Systems is moving from its space in Pewaukee to a larger Brookfield location.

IBS opened its third U.S. location in Pewaukee in February and has already outgrown its space. The manufacturing software company will move to a suite at 3400 Intertech Drive in Brookfield in October.

The Pewaukee space had 3,270 square feet and was able to hold 20 people. The Brookfield office has 3,995 square feet and can hold up to 32 people.

Sweden-based IBS has U.S. headquarters in Folsom, Calif. It also has U.S. offices in New Jersey and Dallas with 600 employees globally. The company offers consulting services, enterprise resource management software and business applications to help businesses move products more efficiently.

IBS was acquired by Symphony Technology Group in June 2011, and now embraces a “go to market” vitality that stresses the importance of customer relationships, product innovation and partner support. The company was founded in 1978 and focuses on its ability to improve return-on-investment and lower total-cost-of-ownership in a variety of markets.

As a result of the company’s focus and positions in various markets, the company is in the process of hiring 10 additional people in the Milwaukee area. IBS currently has 18 employees in metro Milwaukee.
