PNC Bank plans grand opening

MEQUON - PNC Bank will celebrate the opening of its Mequon Green Branch at 11201 N. Port Washington Road with an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

The grand opening celebration at the bank - located at Mequon and Port Washington roads - will feature a free money giveaway. The first 100 visitors will receive an envelope that may include up to $100. In addition, visitors may enter to win a $250 Best Buy gift card, a new iPad, a Weber gas grill or a Milwaukee pro baseball prize package. Drawings will occur on the hour starting at 11 a.m.

The open house also will feature food, a live DJ, a moon-bounce, carnival games, a caricaturist, a balloon artist, a face painter and the PNC Prize Wheel. Several local groups also will be on hand, including Tsang Acupuncture & Wellness Center and Fisher Family Chiropractic, which will offer a free digital health exam.

“This new branch is an investment by PNC in the health and vitality of this community,” said Andrew Gurlusky, the branch manager. “We want our customers to bank with ease and confidence and we pledge to always act in their best interest to achieve their financial goals.”

The Mequon PNC branch is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Drive-through service is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is 24-hour ATM service.

PNC was the first major U.S. bank to apply green building standards to all newly constructed or renovated retail offices. To date, PNC has completed more than 170 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects.
