Franklin Energy Services expands to Pa., N.Y.

PORT WASHINGTON – Franklin Energy Services, a Port Washington-based company that helps utility customers cut costs through energy-saving upgrades, is expanding to the northeastern United States.

Franklin Energy Services has opened offices in New York and Pennsylvania, according to a company statement. With the two new offices, the energy company now has 12 states where it’s working with utilities and governmental agencies to develop and manage energy efficiency programs.

“We are excited about strengthening our focus and capabilities throughout the northeast, especially in the areas of multifamily, commercial and industrial, and trade ally management,” said Dan Tarrence, president at Franklin Energy. “With the addition of these two offices, we have grown to nearly 400 employees with offices in 12 states. We are committed to bringing innovation and excellence in customer satisfaction for our utility clients’ energy efficiency portfolios.”

The expansion reflects the company’s continued growth in implementing energy efficiency programs for clients throughout the nation, according to the statement. Employees at the new locations will focus on achieving energy efficiency goals for local utility partners.
