MENOMONEE FALLS – A business relationship between ZBB Energy Corporation and Lotte Chemical in South Korea is proving to be fruitful for the Menomonee Falls company.

According to a company announcement Thursday, ZBB Energy Corporation, a developer of intelligent, renewable energy power platforms and hybrid vehicle control systems, has received two follow-on orders from Lotte Chemical for a ZBB EnerSystem. Lotte has also placed an order for three EnerStore modules in unassembled kit form for assembly training.

Lotte Chemical Company, a diversified producer of petrochemicals and advanced synthetic resins, has partnered with ZBB Energy to refine the materials and manufacturing process for ZBB Energy's next generation, V3 battery in module sizes of 50kWh up to 500kWh, according to the ZBB Energy.

"We continue to work closely with Lotte Chemical to develop, manufacture and sell our products in key markets. This system will allow Lotte Chemical to continue gaining knowledge at the system level and demonstrate the products to key customers," said Eric Apfelbach, ZBB Energy president and CEO.
