MILWAUKEE — Children’s
Hospital of Wisconsin said Monday that Cindy Christensen,
president of Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and executive vice
president of Children’s Hospital and Health System, will retire.
Christensen’s retirement becomes effective Dec. 31, according to
“Cindy’s dedication to the lives of children and to the people
of Children’s Hospital never wavers,” said Peggy Troy,
CEO of Children’s Hospital and Health System. “Under her
leadership, Children’s has grown in quality, reputation, number
of children served and scope of our mission.”
Christensen has been a major contributor in the establishment of
Children’s as one of the nation’s top pediatric health systems,
according to the statement.
