MEQUON — MSI Data, a Mequon-based provider of mobile and cloud enterprise field workforce management apps, has been named a 2014 Future 50 award winner by the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and its Council of Small Business Executives as one of Milwaukee’s fastest-growing companies.

The Future 50 program, now in its 27th year, recognizes privately-owned companies in the seven-county Milwaukee region that have been in business for at least three years and have shown significant revenue and employment growth.

The Future 50 companies will be honored at an awards luncheon on Sept. 11 in Milwaukee.

Driven by market demand for its field workforce automation apps, including service management and cross-platform mobile inspection and mobile field service apps, MSI Data has more than doubled its staff, from 20 to 50 employees in less than two years, and expanded its headquarters twice to accommodate hiring in software engineering, sales, marketing, customer support and professional services.

“We are honored to be among the companies selected for the 2014 Future 50 award,” said Harvey Shovers, MSI president. “This award is an important recognition for MSI, particularly for our employees whose talent and hard work are behind our standout growth, not only in Milwaukee, but in the field service software industry as well.”

MSI apps are used by organizations across a variety of industries employing a field workforce, including cable, industrial equipment, medical equipment, construction, government, manufacturing, HVAC, field services and more.

MSI develops enterprise, scheduling and mobile software that helps companies improve the productivity of their field workforce.

MSI Data is located at 10033 N. Port Washington Road. Its website is www.msidata.com.
