GERMANTOWN — Germantown police are investigating a reported road rage shooting in which a man was injured.
A West Allis man reported that he pulled to the side of a road Thursday morning to let a car that was following him pass, and someone fired a shot into his driver's-side door, hitting him in the lower leg.
The man said the other vehicle had been weaving in and out of traffic and when it pulled up behind him, he hit his brakes. He said the other vehicle backed off but followed him until he pulled over.
The man was shot near the business where he works. The plant manager said the employee is in the hospital but doing OK.
Police are searching for the other driver. Authorities consider it an isolated incident.
