WIS 33 Overnight Paving Work Starts Monday July 30th
Project Update

July 27, 2012

Overnight work will begin on Monday July 30 to first mill off the asphaltic wedge and then to pave portions of the highway. The milling work will begin to take place during daylight hours allowing for the paving to be done overnight. The overnight work will run from 7PM until 7 AM.

The plan for the paving is to start on the east end of the project and work west over the course of a two week period allowing for any weather delays. There are closures and detours that will be associated with this work. Changeable message boards are in place and will be used to keep motorists informed. Flagmen will also be used during the operation to allow access for local citizens to their homes.

Work is nearing completion for the installation of street lights and traffic signals.
