WAUKESHA - The Waukesha County
Historical Society and Museum is looking to land a federal grant to
help make improvements to facilities and set up an endowment to help
keep the organization going well into the future.
Dave Frazer, vice president of the society’s board of trustees,
said by getting the grant, the society will be able to make
improvements, even after local funding sources expire, without
having to continuously raise admission prices.
"There are a lot of challenges ahead of us in the
future," he said. "And we need to start an endowment fund
to help us into the future."
