A first responder looks at the wreckage of a Honda sedan following an accident on Highway 67 in Oconomowoc on Friday. The crash killed an Oconomowoc High School Assistant Principal Jennifer Bukosky, a district official said, and hospitalized two others.

OCONOMOWOC - Oconomowoc High School Assistant Principal Jennifer Bukosky was killed Friday afternoon in a severe accident, said Oconomowoc School District Superintendent Pat Neudecker.

The accident happened at about 3:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of northbound highway 67 and Pabst Road when a black Honda Accord driven by a 39-year-old town of Oconomowoc woman, that was also carrying three juvenile passengers, was struck in the back by a black Cadillac Escalade driven by a 56-year-old town of Summit resident, according to an Oconomowoc Police Department release. The Accord was stopped for a red traffic light that had just turned green when it was struck. The Oconomowoc Police Department was not releasing names of the victims late Friday night.

But Neudecker confirmed the crash killed Bukosky.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene and two of the juvenile passengers were transported to Children’s Hospital, where they are in critical condition, according to the release. The third child was treated at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and released as was the driver of the Escalade, who afterwards was taken to the Waukesha County Jail, the release said.
