Bookworms have options outside of Waukesha this weekend

WAUKESHA - As the city prepares to host what could be the biggest event to come to Waukesha in recent history, the Waukesha Public Library will close its doors Thursday for a few days.

The Weekend in Waukesha will take place at Cutler Park starting Thursday and running through Sunday. Jane Ameel, the library’s director, said the library board made the decision to close the library at the behest of the Weekend in Waukesha operations committee, which is made up of various city officials, including police and fire authorities.
