Official: Harley events could bring 
$7 million to Washington County

TOWN OF POLK - A sea of Harleys has officially roared into town and H.O.G. Haven organizers and tourism officials see their leather-clad riders as another boost to tourism and commerce in the county.

The event’s food and commercial vendors spent the better part of Tuesday prepping for the official kickoff bash for the weeklong Harley Owners Group event, where the Washington County Fair Park has been christened the official campground of the Harley-Davidson 105th anniversary celebration in and around Milwaukee.

"It’s a great opportunity to meet a lot of different people," said Amy Lauters, co-owner of West Bend Harley-Davidson and Hartford Harley-Davidson Shop.
