A Quaker parrot was reported stolen from Pet World Warehouse Outlet, 2410 E. Moreland Blvd., on Nov. 20, after someone opened the bottom of the cage and took the bird from the store. Its retail value was set at $900.

The bird, a female, is light blue, as males of the species are green, said Amanda McFarlane, assistant manager at Pet World.
