Clinton goes on despite 
reported cancellation

WAUKESHA - A Milwaukee radio station is denying allegations that one of its talk show hosts reported the former President Bill Clinton campaign appearance in Waukesha on Thursday was canceled due to a water main break.

Crews worked at Northview Road and Delafield Street repairing an apparent utility problem near the Waukesha County Expo Center where Clinton was set to appear to campaign for his wife, Democratic presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. A station anchor on WTMJ radio 620 AM announced the water main break during Charlie Sykes’ morning talk show, though there was not a formal announcement that the event was cancelled, said program director Tom Parker.
