WAUKESHA - Chad Bauer, co-owner of the Northwoods League baseball team the Green Bay Bullfrogs, laid out his game plan Wednesday to bring amateur baseball to Waukesha’s Frame Park.

Bauer, who lives in Jackson, made his pitch at the first meeting of the ad hoc committee on amateur baseball in Frame Park.

Bauer introduced the plan by stressing the basic footprint of the existing diamond at the park would not change, but he would invest about $1 million or more to upgrade what is there to accommodate attendance of about 2,000 per game.

"We are not looking to change the walkways in the park," he said. "Our premise is to keep the current footprint intact. We don’t (want) something that would overwhelm the site."
