state of flooding conditions resulting from torrential weekend rains
for which the county may seek state assistance.
Gov. Jim Doyle identified Washington County as one of 30 counties

state assistance and ask the state to request federal assistance on
its behalf, according to the resolution.

regarding damage, Emergency Management Coordinator Rob Schmid told
the board at its Tuesday meeting. Residents should thoroughly
document damage and include photographs in order to apply for state
and federal assistance, should it become available, Schmid said.
