The drop in overall applicants isn’t a concern to school
officials because they still expect to hit the targeted number of
approximately 650 to 700 incoming freshmen in the fall.
As of Monday, the school received 1,299 applicants, which is down
from 1,383 at this time last year. But the number of admitted
freshmen is at 880, which is up nine students.
