MILWAUKEE - Young guitar heroes and musical innovators will get
their shot at rock ‘n’ roll stardom alongside Waukesha legend
Les Paul in a new exhibit set to open this summer in Milwaukee, but
it is not expected to hinder plans for another, long-sought Paul
exhibit in Waukesha.
The "Les Paul House of Sound" will give attendees a
chance to see and tinker with their own music just like Paul did in
his childhood experiments eight decades ago, said Discovery World
President and CEO Joel Brennan during a press conference Wednesday
morning officially announcing the exhibit.
The region is a "sleeping giant" of talent, he said,
and this exhibit will help bring it to life.
"We’re very proud to be the first place to launch
this," Brennan said. "This is a showcase of his
spirit."
