WAUKESHA - Attorneys for two families affected in an April 25 crash that killed Jennifer Bukosky, her daughter Courtney Bella and unborn daughter Sophia, and which injured Deborah Gibbs, filed a wrongful death lawsuit Wednesday morning against Mark Benson, the former doctor accused of three counts of homicide by the intoxicated use of a vehicle in the case.

The suit alleges Benson was negligent in the crash, in which he allegedly drove at a high rate of speed while under the influence of medications, and it asks a judge to freeze Benson’s assets, as he allegedly made statements that he was going to sell his possessions in the moments after the crash.
