BROOKFIELD - When former GE Healthcare
executive Kevin Conroy was considering taking a position with
another technology firm, he felt comfortable enough to discuss the
matter with his bosses.
Conroy’s managers encouraged him to
pursue the venture, and told him to call them if it didn’t work
out. The company’s management training courses, along with its
deep bench of talented employees, prepared him for his next role
with Madison-based Third Wave Technologies, Conroy said.
"It was the type of culture where you could do that," he
said. "There was no down side at all for saying, ‘I have this
option, what do you think about it?’"
