WEST BEND - Two health and physical
education classes will be offered online next semester in the West
Bend School District, marking its first venture into virtual
education.

The School Board this week approved $20,400 to buy the courses
from Florida Virtual School Global Services.
The district plans to expand the program to several freshman and
sophomore classes next school year, and is targeting 2015 to require
one virtual class for graduation.
