WAUKESHA - When Mike Ward started a new real estate career in
July 2005, he thought he was making a good choice. He had a sales
and marketing background, and a large network of contacts.
Not long afterward, the market sank.
"My timing was lousy," Ward said.
Before real estate, Ward was an independent contractor with his
own delivery truck. Back problems and surgery ended that career.
Once he launched his real estate career, Ward said he did
everything he could to be successful. He attended courses, got
accredited and worked hard.
