WAUKESHA - As the vice presidential candidates debated Thursday
night, a room full of students at the University of
Wisconsin-Waukesha listened. Some took copious notes while others
leaned forward in their chairs, listening intently.
Austen Lang, a freshman at UWW studying English, also watched the
presidential debate last week. He said vice presidential candidates
Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. Joe Biden talked with each other more in
their debate than presidential candidates Sens. Barack Obama and
John McCain did in their first debate.
He also said of Palin and Biden, "they are clashing back and
forth, which I like to see."
