delivery woman credited with alerting residents of house fire

A newspaper delivery woman’s actions
likely saved two Hartford residents from a Saturday house fire, said
Hartford Fire and Rescue Chief Paul Stephans.
At about 5:30 a.m., the woman saw a house fire on the 200 block
of Branch Street, according to a release from the Hartford Fire and
Rescue Department. The woman alerted a 58-year-old man inside the
building, who then escaped.
