WAUKESHA - The Wisconsin Department of
Natural Resources is hoping to get a court order against the city to
document the steps Waukesha still needs to take to bring its
drinking water into compliance with federal standards on radium.
Susan Crawford, DNR division of enforcement and science
administrator, said the DNR has referred the matter to the state’s
Department of Justice for legal action.
