Gary Bach

CITY OF PEWAUKEE - Eleven weeks ago today, City of Pewaukee Police Chief Gary Bach was placed on paid administrative leave while citizens, attorney Paul Bucher and Bach himself have been left wondering why.

So far, city staff have not released a personnel investigation report on Bach or charges drafted against him to the public despite open records requests by The Freeman citing that, according to state law, the documents are not open records.

The charges against Bach that will be finalized, served to him, given to the City of Pewaukee Police and Fire Commission and made public on Friday were a result of a personnel investigation into the police chief. Bach was placed on paid administrative leave July 23.
