The air may have been much cooler and crisper, the crowd quite a bit smaller than the large-scale Aurora Medical Center groundbreaking two weeks earlier, but the same type of excitement was still in the air at the official groundbreaking last Wednesday for the Gateway to Grafton mixed-use development, located east of Interstate 43.

"When we started working with you about five years ago, we knew this site would pose a real challenge," said Village of Grafton Director of Planning and Development Mike Rambousek. "I take my hat off to Kraig Sadownikow of American Design-Build and his team for putting this all together and bringing quality development to Grafton on this site."
