HARTFORD - A 35-year-old Hartford woman
faces a 12-year prison sentence after allowing her live-in boyfriend
to remain in her home to continue a sexual relationship with her
then-14-year-old daughter.
The woman, who will not be named to protect the identity of her
daughter, has been charged with felony failure to protect a child
and obstructing an officer, according to the criminal complaint
filed in the matter.
The daughter began having sex with the 30-year-old boyfriend
shortly after he moved in with the suspect in 2004, according to the
complaint, and continued, off-and-on, for more than two-years.
