Incumbent Wartman 
retains school board seat

ELM GROVE - Elmbrook School Board President Meg Wartman was re-elected to the board’s at-large seat in Tuesday’s election, earning more votes than her challenger, Elm Grove resident Charles D. Wickens.

Wartman received a total of 4,367 votes and Wickens got 2,251 votes, according to unofficial district election results. The total number of write-in candidates was unavailable Tuesday night. The district will canvass official results tonight.

Wartman has been on the board since 2003 and has three children attending district schools.
