ELM GROVE - Incumbent village trustees
Andrew Azpell, John Nelson and Christine Torkelson will retain their
seats following Tuesday’s election.

Torkelson received the largest number of votes, 1,040 (28.5
percent). Azpell was the second-highest vote-getter with 872 votes
(23.9 percent) and Nelson received 758 votes (20.8 percent).
Challenger Charles Wickens received 451 votes (12.4 percent) and
challenger David P. Cook received 519 votes (14 percent), according
to unofficial election results from the village clerk’s office.
There were 14 write-in candidates.
