Gehrke challenged incumbent Lisbon Town Chairman Michael Reed, who said at a recent voter forum he felt he still had work left to do as chairman. At a recent candidate forum, Gehrke continually pointed to the need for change.

Gehrke received a total of 1,292 votes (73.8 percent) and Reed got 457 votes (26.1 percent), Deputy Clerk Sandy Gettelman said. There were two write-in candidates.

Official election results were canvassed Tuesday night.
