PEWAUKEE - Pewaukee Trustee and newly
elected Village President Jeff Knutson was celebrating his victory
with friends and his wife at Daniel’s Grill in Pewaukee Tuesday
night.
"I think it hasn’t sunk in yet," he said. "It’s
scary and still I’m happy. I’m very humbled that I did get
this."
Knutson beat former Village Board President and former Trustee
John Laimon, with Knutson receiving 541 votes, or 55 percent, and
Laimon earning 448 votes, or 45 percent, according to unofficial
results Tuesday. There were four write-ins.
Votes will be canvassed Wednesday.
