Michael Vilione filed suit against Jeffrey Curro, owner of Curro’s Automotive Service in Brookfield, and Scott Smaglick, owner of S&S Restoration in Menomonee Falls, seeking $246,258 in damages.

Vilione alleged he entered a deal with the auto shops in January 2003 to completely restore his 1966 Sunbeam Tiger, with estimates ranging from $37,600 to $74,300 to do the restoration. The contract called for a $15,000 down payment and $2,000 monthly payments to finance the work, with Curro paying Smaglick a proportionate amount of the costs of the work.
