Under the agreement, WCTC students can complete a two-year associate degree in applied science in electrical engineering technology and be admitted at UWM with a junior status.

"We are excited about this articulation agreement, which is part of our strategy to build a pipeline of qualified science, technology, engineering and mathematics students," said Michael Lovell, dean of the UWM College of Engineering and Applied Science. "We look forward to enhancing our partnership with WCTC."

WCTC already had a similar deal in place with the Milwaukee School of Engineering, however, in recent years there has been a major demand for more engineering programs in southeastern Wisconsin.
